I’ve already written about this many times.

ebay should stop translating item names, especially into Polish.

The translations that show up are EMBARRASSING for a company like ebay.

Example: item no. 305345974084 with the original name:

Walzenräder Rechenmaschine Bauteile 2 Stück - Samlg. Essen - 0023

This name was translated as:

Roller wheels calculating machine components 2 pieces - Samlg. Food - 0023

These are not "roller wheels", but toothed wheels (pin wheels), Essen is Essen, not food.

This is just one example. This is an EMBARRASSMENT for ebay. Too bad this item didn’t end up in the food category.

I completely agree, with current technology such poor translations should no longer happen. 🙂

Old truth: if you want it done properly, do it yourself. AI may replace us one day, but for now, it's better to rely on yourself.

I’m not happy with the translation, but I didn’t clearly say that eBay should simply show the original item names without translating them.
