Four days ago I bought an electronic device on German eBay https://www.ebay.de/itm/156165888158, and the next day I noticed that the purchase had been canceled and the money refunded to my account. The problem is that the seller did not contact me, and here are a few facts - as the reason he gave that the item was not fit for use because the power supply burned out during the "last" inspection before shipping, so he contacted eBay and was advised that a "responsible seller" would do exactly that, and he kept pushing that on me in two messages, so losing patience I wrote that I simply do not believe this story. He realized - though too late - that he could ask for a better price and carelessly canceled the purchase, giving as the reason something that no one can check or prove to be a lie.
I would like to know what options I have to pursue my rights or, if possible, get some compensation, but what I would most like is to get the product itself back.
