Hi, I recently bought a car at a buy-it-now auction from Germany. I contacted the seller about picking up the car. I hired an outside company to collect the car. The day before the car was to be picked up, the seller canceled the purchase for the following reason: "The seller canceled this order for the following reason: I don't have the item in stock or the item is damaged."
When I found out about the situation above, the hired company was already on the way. Can I demand reimbursement from the seller for the costs I incurred?
Why was the seller able to cancel the purchase without my consent?
