Why is there a different price for the item and for shipping shown in the search engine, and a different price (about 20-25% higher) directly in the auction description?

On the general auction list, the shipping cost to Poland is, for example, $100, but when you go into the auction, the cost is much higher.
I’m also overlooking the fact that the customs and tax calculations are strange
With the previous Pitney Bowes program, the buyer knew right away how much tax and customs duty they had to pay (before placing a bid).
In this new Ebay international Shipping program, it’s a mystery; only after the purchase and attempt to pay for the item do you find out how much you actually have to pay.
Why does ebay make life so complicated.
Recently I bought an item in this program, I lost some money and the seller lost the item.
Could Ebay have found itself an additional source of income?

·3 years agoI haven’t come across such a case. Can you send the link? The price shown in the auction applies, and what’s in the description might be the seller’s note about tax added at payment?
