Warning about eBay! No delivery of the purchased goods from the UK to Poland. The shipment is being held by GLS

Hello,
Has anyone come across a problem like mine, where the GLS carrier refuses to deliver the shipment under the pretext that the buyer has not authorized customs clearance?? That doesn’t make any sense.
I bought the item on November 19 in the UK and for almost 2 weeks the shipment has been in Poland at the GLS warehouse in Komorniki Głuchowo under the pretext of missing customs documentation (the recipient’s authorization, meaning mine) despite the fact that they received everything, including import charges (customs duty) and the auction documentation.
Of course, there is no direct contact with eBay. They send responses from AI or bots.
I warn against buying on eBay.
I will waste many days and hours, but if this does not end positively, I will write everywhere and warn people about eBay

·2 years agoHi, I have the same here. I've been waiting to buy for two months already. The trail also ends in Komorniki. Best regards

·2 years agoI totally get you with GLS. A year ago, a shipment bought online from abroad was supposed to be delivered quickly, and I waited almost a month for delivery, and it turned out it was because the customs documentation was missing. It helped that I had the purchase invoice and sent it to GLS. In general, many people have problems with GLS services, most often they are delivery delays and improper handling of shipments. GLS seems to have serious problems with communication and effectively solving problems
