Good morning, I bought photographic films on eBay from Germany and immediately got a message from the seller saying he had more of them, and if I bought this additional quantity, he could send them together with the shipment purchased through eBay. It sounds plausible, because in terms of volume or weight it makes almost no difference. The seller is offering a few-percent discount if I pay him outside eBay, directly via Revolut. The seller is listed on eBay as a business and has a German tax ID.
Has anyone come across a similar situation? I’d be grateful for any advice, because I have no experience with eBay at all - this is my first purchase.

·2 years agoeBay doesn't recommend buying without their mediation, but in this situation....I would take the risk if the savings were significant for me.
