I bought a Mac Pro a year ago
recently I replaced the drive with a bigger one and it turned out the computer was stolen
I contacted the seller
he replied that he would refund my money if I sent the computer back
the computer arrived at the place
he was supposed to send me the money and asked for PayPal (ebay cuts out messages - with emails and phone numbers)
finally he got the PayPal address and said he couldn't find me on PayPal, which is nonsense
what can I do
I reached out to ebay for help but I have a feeling it's some kind of joke

·2 years agoYou should have gone to the police. After a year, eBay wouldn't have helped anyway.
Now you don't even have a computer, so I guess there's nothing to take to the police, unless you're going to file a statement.
Maybe they're looking for the guy.....?
