Hi. Some time ago, on 14/05, I bought a car in Germany with a damaged gearbox.
Unfortunately, contact with the seller is only by email. He provided a pickup address and a phone number that doesn’t answer. After a dozen attempts to get through by phone, I sent him my contact number by email. No response by phone. On 22/05 I wrote that I was backing out of the purchase because I don’t have phone contact and I won’t send a tow truck “blindly” (the user has 0 transactions). At this point he is threatening me with consequences from the purchase agreement. How is it actually? In my case, can I refuse to take this car without consequences?

·3 years agoPretty suspicious case: poor contact, nothing to show for it. You're not in any danger. Don't do anything in this situation. I hope you didn't pay anything.

OP3 years agoThanks for the reply. I didn't pay anything because payment was in cash. And how is it with the sales agreement? If it goes to a lawyer, could there be any consequences?
