purchase from China, VAT and customs duty.
Hi, I’m coming with a question about a shipment from China. I’m planning to buy a laptop worth $800 USD. The shipment is eBay SpeedPak Standard. Should I expect VAT and customs duty to be added? I’m asking because I read that the price at checkout theoretically already includes these charges. Thanks in advance for your answer.

·1 year agoeBay will collect VAT, but if they charge it again at the border, which does happen, then after presenting proof of payment eBay will refund the VAT collected.
