No bid button
It’s not the first time I’ve had this situation, where I go into an item auction that I’m bidding on and I don’t have the "bid" button, even though it was there before and I had already placed a bid for some amount. What’s more, I get an email saying that I’ve been outbid or that the auction is ending soon, encouraging me to keep bidding, but there’s no way to do it. What’s going on?

Don’t use links, just log in to eBay where the auction is, and preferably on eBay com (is it on ebay.pl?) and try to place a bid.
eBay.com usually has the software updated the fastest, and what doesn’t work very well elsewhere works fine there.

OP2 years agoThanks for the reply. Just to be clear, I was bidding from my smartphone, as I understand it probably on eBay and not eBay.pl, because it shows me the whole world. Next time I'll try to log in through my laptop and see if the same thing happens. Alternatively, I'll try logging in from another device not linked to my account.

·2 years agoIf you don't have the eBay app installed on your smartphone that may be the reason for the bidding failure . On a computer it should work .

Today I was at Nasz Bank because I couldn’t make a transaction larger than 300 zł or change the limits from my smartphone, and at the bank I found out that everything will be available from a computer 😤.
From today on I no longer think that a smartphone is such a small computer 😆.

OP2 years agoOf course I have the app, without it I probably wouldn’t be able to bid. I haven’t had a chance to bid since then.
