I need help with a case of fraud that I fell victim to.
I found the product I was looking for. I agreed with the seller on the price and shipping and paid for the item from my own account to the account provided by the seller. I did not make the payment through PayPal or through eBay.
The seller received the payment, which he informed me of, but so far he has not sent the item and most likely will not send it anymore because contact has been broken off. That means I write to him and he does not reply.
I reported the matter to eBay, but unfortunately Ms. Kasia is washing her hands of it.
The seller is from Germany, from Herne, and the only advice I got from Ms. Kasia was that I should go to the Police and report that I was cheated. Unfortunately, Herne is about 800 km away from me and it is hard for me to go there especially without knowing whether I will even be able to sort the matter out with them. The funniest thing is that the German scammer's company is on the same street as the police station. The scammer does not respond to messages or phone calls.
I need help in resolving my problem and punishing the scammer.

·1 year agoYou got **bleep** like me like 15 times, they even showed my ID from the shipment that arrived, supposedly I signed it, but it wasn’t my signature, and those savages and Turks do that and only DHL, because at Deutsche Post there are Poles working, savages and others, they steal packages and forge shipments. And then a German woman yelled at me, sent me proof of receipt saying I supposedly received a turntable for 800 euros, and I went to the police, they can’t do anything either because she thinks she’s clean and that I’m just trying to scam her, so she won’t go to the police and it’s all messed up. My advice is this: I don’t know how badly you got screwed, if it’s a lot then you go to the guy with a German expert and if not, report it to the local police, that’s the only thing that will save you. I’ve been dealing with them for 35 years, lived alone for 15, so I know what’s up. Don’t give up, and I gave you the pattern.

·1 year agoI got scammed on German eBay Kleinanzeigen, the purchase was made outside the portal, I transferred the agreed amount to the seller, I got duped, I still haven't received the package to this day, he supposedly promised to send it but I don't believe it because he isn't responding. The scammer is still active, he still has an official account and 29 items, I created a second account and offered to pick up the item in person that he had listed as pickup only, of course he didn't provide any contact details...

·1 year agoIs the amount economically worth starting legal proceedings to recover it? You pay the bailiff’s fee if you get a judgment after paying the court costs, and every time the bailiff takes action.
report it to the police and that’s all that’s worth doing, I suppose.
When buying, always think about what if it’s an attempt at fraud. Use eBay and pay by credit card, either directly or through PayPal. That way you won’t be helpless

·10 years agoYour transaction has nothing to do with Ebay, so asking Ebay for help is out of place.
Get information at your local police station - they may advise you.
However, don't count on getting your money back. Even if you decide to start proceedings to recover it, know that it involves costs.
Later, when you obtain a judgment, every action taken by the bailiff to collect the debt is at your expense.
It depends on the amount....and whether you have time for it

OP10 years agoUnfortunately, this is the last resort. I won't let it go!!! The amount is 800 PLN and that's probably how much the trip to the dishonest seller will cost me.
I would be grateful for information on how I can report the issue at a German police station.
